Day two and we're in rosedale

These first two days have been pretty trying but we have been moving along pretty quickly. I think we miscalculated the time it would take to get from Belgrave to pakenham particularly as we went via a scenic bike ride guide that had us down all manner of paths Inc skirting around Cardinia reservoir on the dam wAll which was pretty damn cool. Half the other roads very unpaved through forests with some mammoth hills including Lewis road which we have snce been making jokes about. We went camping last night and could nt find much for breakfast besides subway which seemed like the healthiest option along the usual highway offerings so a footlong was in order to get things moving.
The highway wasn't so bad and we were happy to get to warrigul after planning on making it there day one. It was actually quite hilly along the freeway with some long drawn out climbs which we could only manage at about 14km per hour (we are normally cruising on the flat at about 26. To make up for some lost k's we kept going after having some Tucker at traralgon to rosedale which was like the tip of the iceberg; attempting 125 I'm really knocked us about with our heavy loads and the end was pretty painful as we were cycling with the lights on thinking where the hell is it. Rob has been pretty comatose since all night and it seems like it's taken it's toll. So we hit the hotel and I'm looking forward to waking up to the brekky we ordered before we set off for bairnsdale tomorrow. Hopefully our Lycra dries out so we don't get chaff!
